Brig O Dee is an old military bridge, built on the disused military road which linked Corgarff Castle to Blairgowrie, and was built around 1752. This remarkable hump back bridge stands on solid rock on a bend in the River Dee, near Braemar. The newer, current road bridge commissioned by Prince Albert can be seen in the distance. upstream dsider.co.uk online magazine, photo courses Photography by Bill Bagshaw.
