Banchory Area and Enchanting Crathes Castle

Banchory is surrounded by a a host of fascinating places.      Crathes Castle is the scene of many events, as well as being an attraction in its own right.

At the Falls of Feugh you can see salmon leaping upstream over the rocks. The Bridge of Feugh has a special pedestrian walkway with  a viewing area.

Part of the Deeside Victorian railway line has been reconstructed in the Banchory area at Crathes.
The annual Banchory Show is an important agricultural and equestrian event.

Banchory Shops

Banchory has a Tesco, a Morrisons and a Co-op supermarket, plus a whole range of shops in a classic Scottish Victorian high street.
