Alford home of The Aberdeen Angus

Alford is a large village near the River Don and is the home of the Aberdeen Angus cattle breed.    There is also a transport museum, a narrow gauge railway, a swimming pool, and a heritage centre.

Alford has a large range of shops and a co-operative supermarket.
